Contracts form the foundation of many activities within an organisation. They form the legal basis for the business and all activities that flow from that. It is becoming increasingly common to enter into business agreements with (internal) service providers over the services, products and work to be supplied. They, for instance, bring a purchasing and tender procedure to a close. The starting point of integral management leads, in many cases, to a large increase in the number of (supplier) relationships and contracts, and the diversity and complexity thereof. When the ink on a contract has dried, everyone carries on as normal. The absence of agreements in relation to contract management is the reason for this newsletter about contract management. Not carefully disseminating contracts, and the information and conditions contained therein can lead to discontinuity, frustration and irritation within the organisations of both the customer and supplier.
